This unit is a great way to go!

I could not be happier with my choice to buy this product! The photo was from MY FIRST TIME using it and I can't say enough about how easy it was to set up and use. Instructions were simple, the unit has all the needed settings - and a few extras - the clip on approach worked perfectly (seems much better than the screw on type), and is was QUIET, really quiet. I mean almost silent. No vibrations either. And, ta-da! I did a whole 8lb fillet @134 degrees for 3 hours and it was PERFECT. Everyone raved and every slice was the exact same done'ness. We have started using it often. NOTE: you don't need any of the internet connectivity/app stuff. Save money and buy this one. Way cheaper than most and it well constructed and easy to use. Why complicate things?
